Most pink filament on the market is PLA aimed at decorative printing, so a pink in a tougher engineering material is genuinely useful. Cosplay props, costume fittings, custom keycaps and personalised gifts made in it can be worn, dropped and carried without snapping. The colour is saturated rather than pastel and stays even across a spool, which helps when a costume piece has to be printed in sections and assembled afterwards. It sands and primes readily if you want to paint over part of it. Like the rest of SA Filament’s ABS, it is produced locally and shipped on a sealed spool.
