Dark Grey is the choice when black feels too flat and a lighter grey washes out the detail. It has enough tone to look deliberate on finished work while still hiding the odd imperfect layer, which suits camera rigs, instrument housings and any part that sits in view on a desk. As an ABS it stands up to heat and impact far better than PLA, so a bracket printed in it will not sag in a parked bakkie or split when a clamp goes on. SA Filament extrudes it in South Africa and seals the spools to keep moisture out until you open one.
