Green is a practical signal colour: it separates cleanly from bare metal, dark plastic and soil, which is why it turns up on garden tooling, irrigation fittings, hydroponics parts and equipment labels. This one is a locally made ABS, so it brings the impact strength and heat tolerance you want for components that live in a shed or on the back of a vehicle rather than on a shelf. It sands well if you want to knock the sheen back, and it takes drilled fixings without the brittleness PLA shows. On a clean, well-adhered bed, large flat parts stay put.
