Yellow is the loudest colour in the range and the easiest to spot in a dim workshop or a deep drawer. It works for hazard marking, for sorting a set of printed parts by size or revision, and for anything mounted low down where a foot might find it first. The pigment is bright rather than mustard, and it is carried in the same locally manufactured engineering ABS as the rest of the line, so a yellow component is a working component: it takes impact, tolerates heat and holds a thread. It also gives good contrast alongside black or dark grey.
