Red Hyper ABS gives you the toughness of ABS with a flow profile suited to the faster printers now common in Johannesburg workshops. ABS sands well and responds to acetone vapour smoothing, and a saturated red holds its depth once the surface has been polished, so display-facing parts do not go chalky. Use it where a component has to survive being dropped, clamped or left in a hot car boot: enclosure lids, RC bodywork, battery trays. The blend is designed to shrink less as it cools, which matters most on wide, flat prints that would otherwise pull away from the bed at the edges.

Before you print
Print in an enclosure. ABS warps and splits in a draught, and it needs ventilation.
