Silver sits closer to a light metallic grey than to plain grey, which gives mechanical models a manufactured look with no post-processing at all. It is a common choice for scale engine parts, appliance replacements, robot shells and anything meant to pass for aluminium at a glance. This is the standard CR-PLA, so there is nothing unusual about running it; it loads and prints like the rest of the range. Where it parts company with a matte grey is under light, as the finish catches highlights along edges and flatters curved bodywork more than flat panels.
