Soleyin Ultra is the step up from standard PLA in the Creality range, and black is the workhorse of it. The pigment is dense enough that walls read as one surface rather than a stack of layers, which is why it suits enclosures, brackets, camera mounts and replacement housings where a part should look finished straight off the bed. Raised lettering stays legible against it, so panel labels and badges need no paint at all. Edges hold their shape on tall, thin geometry that tends to slump in cheaper black filament. Stored dry, it keeps its even sheen instead of going chalky.
