Light Grey is the PLA to reach for when you want to see a model rather than a colour. It is bright enough to read fine detail under workshop lighting, but soft enough that highlights do not blow out the way they do on white, which makes it a sensible default for prototypes, jigs and printed replacement parts. SA Filament winds it here in South Africa, so restocking mid-project does not mean waiting on an import. It runs on any standard FDM machine with no special hardware, and takes primer and paint cleanly if a part is headed for finishing.
