Smoky Wine sits at the darker end of the dual silk range, a deep wine red running against a hazy grey-mauve. It earns its place when a flat red looks cheap — wine racks, coasters, candle holders, bar signage and gothic-styled models all gain depth from it. The silk sheen lifts the darker tone so finished pieces do not disappear into shadow the way matte dark filaments tend to. Put it on your usual PLA profile and nothing else needs changing. Thin-walled and vase-mode work carries the colour shift furthest, and every spool is made by SA Filament here in South Africa.
