Silk PLA has a glossy, almost satin surface that reflects light along the layer lines instead of scattering it, so prints look polished as soon as they leave the bed. This blue is deep and even, and it works where a two-tone spool would be too busy: lettering, logos, geometric shapes and matched sets of parts. It is also the easier silk to plan around, because the colour stays predictable from one print to the next when several pieces have to match. Handling is the same as standard PLA, with the sheen as the only real difference.
