Steel Blue is a restrained, slightly grey blue with a silk sheen, built on PLA Plus, which takes impact better than standard PLA. That mix makes it useful for parts that have to work and be seen: printer upgrades, camera rigs, mounting plates and enclosure lids. The colour hides scuffs better than a bright shade and does not draw the eye to layer lines the way a glossy primary can. It is made in South Africa and vacuum-sealed on the line, which means fewer surprises when a spool has been in storage between projects.
