Fluorescent red is a standard-speed PLA in a pigment that glows almost electric under ultraviolet light and stays loud in ordinary daylight. It is the spool to reach for when visibility is the point: club and event props, warning covers, sports branding, gaming and cosplay pieces. Underneath the colour it behaves like the rest of Creality’s PLA, forgiving on a machine that is not perfectly dialled in and neatly wound so it feeds without snagging partway through a job. It also makes a good first colour for makers whose shelf so far runs entirely to greys and blacks.

Before you print
Glow and fluorescent pigments are abrasive. A hardened nozzle will last considerably longer.
