PETG in green suits anyone iterating on a design and wanting to see at a glance which revision a printed part belongs to. The material itself is tougher than PLA and far less prone to lifting off the bed than ABS, so brackets, housings and clamps come off the plate square. Green also works for garden and outdoor fittings, where it blends in rather than shouting. Layer bonding is strong enough that parts accept a self-tapping screw without splitting, which is the usual failure point when people try the same design in a brittle filament.
