Black resin flatters a print. Without a highlight running along every layer, curved shells and flat panels look cleaner as they come off the plate, which is why it gets used for prop parts, camera housings, speaker grilles and anything meant to be looked at rather than measured. The trade-off is that fine detail is harder to read by eye until it has been primed, so keep a lamp close during inspection. It shares the smooth pour and mild odour of the rest of the standard LCD range, and the smaller bottle suits a colour used for finishing pieces rather than bulk work.
