Black is the colour most workshops burn through first, and the high-speed Hyper formulation means you burn through it sooner. It runs cleanly on machines with input shaping and a capable hotend, holding layer bonds together as the flow rate climbs. Dark parts conceal the small blemishes that announce themselves on lighter colours, which makes this the sensible pick for jigs, enclosures, brackets and anything destined for a workshop shelf rather than a display cabinet. It also accepts primer and spray paint without much surface preparation, so a batch of prototypes can be finished the same afternoon it comes off the plate.
