Blue gives the Creality TPU range a colour that reads clearly against metal and black plastic, which helps when a flexible component sits inside a larger assembly and needs identifying at a glance. The material stretches and returns to shape, so it is at home in wheels, dampers, protective sleeves and phone cases. Makers coming from rigid filaments should give the extruder a little patience on the first roll, since flexible material rewards steady feeding over haste. The kilogram spool is enough for several prototype iterations of the same part, which is usually what a flexible design ends up needing.

Temperatures and speeds are recommended starting points for this material. Fine-tune them to your printer and your part.
Before you print
Print slowly and straight from a direct-drive extruder. A Bowden setup will struggle.
