Nozzles wear out, and buying them one at a time is how you end up printing with a worn one because the replacement has not arrived. Five is roughly a year for a busy hobby machine. The big head carries more thermal mass than a slim nozzle, which steadies the temperature when the hotend is working hard and makes blockages less likely on long jobs. Brass, so keep these for PLA, PETG, ABS and TPU and use a hardened nozzle for anything filled.
