This kit replaces the build surface on a printer with a standard square bed: a flexible spring steel sheet with an epoxy coating, plus the magnetic base it sits on. The point of a removable steel sheet is the part removal. Lift the plate off, give it a flex, and the print releases instead of being prised off with a scraper, which is how beds and fingers usually get damaged. The epoxy face leaves a smooth underside on finished prints and cleans up with isopropyl alcohol between jobs. A sensible replacement once an original surface has been gouged, or an upgrade for a machine still printing onto glass.
