The Ender 5 Max is the workshop machine in the Ender line, a fully framed CoreXY cube built around a very large square build area. The point of the cube layout is that the bed moves only in Z, so a heavy print is never thrown back and forth, which counts for a great deal when a job runs for days. An all-metal frame, dual Z motors and linear rails on the X axis hold that geometry true, and the multi-point automatic levelling routine squares the plate without hand tramming. Runout detection, power-loss recovery and Wi-Fi monitoring matter more here, because the prints are long ones.
Good for
- Cosplay props printed in one piece
- Architectural models at presentation scale
- Small-scale production and batch runs
- Long unattended overnight prints
