The CFS turns a K2 into a multi-material machine. Four spools sit in a sealed, desiccated housing, and the printer draws from whichever one the job calls for — swapping colours mid-model or carrying on from a fresh spool when one runs out. Run-out detection and spool recognition mean the printer knows what is loaded without you telling it. For a workshop running long overnight jobs, the real gain is not colour at all: it is that a spool ending at two in the morning no longer means a failed print and a wasted night.
Good for
- Multi-colour models and signage
- Unattended overnight production runs
- Printing soluble support material
- Keeping filament dry between jobs
